Waxing Political


I have been listening to a great radio show called On Point  which I listen to on www.wbfo.org. This morning for example they had back-to-back hours on Education and the internet, and an interview with the author of “When America First Met China.”

The education hour explored the potential future of education and the application of the newest technologies. The implications of the availability of education and how it should best be distributed and it really shows that most of these existing Universities are truly interested in distributing education but, as soon as we get the corporations involved (and they are NOT people) focus shifts to the bottom line and their own future existence. We must, as a globally evolving nation, invest heavily in the education of our youth.

Now, ask yourself this. If you agree with this premise, who do you think will keep us on a path to better opportunity and who wants to cut “entitlements.” I’m not looking for rebuttals or arguments but, this just appears to be common sense to me.


The second part of this show was an interview delving into the US involvement with China from the beginning and was fascinating. Items from; the treatment in the US of Cooleys, to the decimation of the sea otter population in which pelts were bought from US trappers for a small fraction of what they sold for in China, to the exportation of opium and the Opium War. Ups and downs in huge cycles. How, many of the fortunes of The Rockefellers etc were gotten by trade with China which they turned into railroads and industry. Men (sorry, ladies, that’s history) who kept their money moving, individuals who, in some cases, cared deeply about the future and the country. In many cases they were the recipients of huge government handouts, during the wars, given land in exchange for developing infrastructure. In the case of Herbert Dow, he was given a million dollars during World War II to develop a “synthetic rubber.” After the war, after having developed a great petrochemical complex capable of making huge quantities of some very essential chemicals such as chlorine and later plastics, what was the government to do? All of this developed on the taxpayers back. It couldn’t be controlled by the government, that would be seen as “socialism”.  So, the decision was made to give Dow Chemical to Herbert Dow for pennies on the dollar but, since it had a virtual monopoly AND was paid for by US taxpayers, it would be regulated. That is until Reagan decided it was “unfair” to regulate such an industry and anyone should be able to compete with Dow Chemical in an “open market.” An interesting twist.

I just don’t think that enough American corporations of today have that capacity to be concerned about anything other than profit. Unfortunately, much of the populace see themselves as those great men who built this country, they seem to think that by investing in some mutual fund that does good that they are building a future. And to some extent they are, but it’s an investment in themselves and their families. That’s all well and good but, if you are stashing away cash overseas while American Vets are homeless, or fighting “entitlements” which give young, poor mothers a place to spend a night, that’s a bit hypocritical, no matter what church you go to on Sunday or Saturday.  I can’t imagine myself or anyone wanting to jump into this “handout”.

You may already be on the other side of this fence but, it’s still going to be there after the election. I know where I’m gonna’ be.

Forward

As the 21st century dawns, we find ourselves on the brink of what may be mankind’s greatest challenge. Can we, as a species, use the tools we have at our disposal to continue to survive, if not thrive?

In the broad spectrum of information we have available, the data can be interpreted in many ways. On one end of the spectrum we can envision shortages leading to conflicts which, if left unresolved, may continue to spread and escalate to a point of no return which could lead to extinction. Another extreme could have us using technology at our disposal in an environmentally responsible manner while providing humanity with wealth and abundance unthinkable at the moment. While there is also an entire range of choices in-between, I can’t help but believe that the extremes presented are the true choice.

In this work I would like to examine the choices available to us in such a way as to enable each of us to understand that there are, indeed, choices and that each of us has the opportunity to participate in our own evolution in a very real and tangible way.

I would like to state at the outset that all of the ideas presented here are the direct result of my having studied the works of Richard Buckminster Fuller over the past 30 years.

We owe him a lot.

A=440 vs A=432 Leads to a Challenge

I have just had a friend recommend an article he read on the significance of Standard Tuning of A being 440 HZ or 432 HZ and the ramifications of this fact. He and I are both musicians but the implication of the article is that this 8 HZ difference represents far more than musical inclinations. From this site you can get to all sorts of discussions and controversies: Rothschild’s, Illuminati, enslavement.

This got me to the field of Cymatics and some spectacular patterns generated by sound vibrations. It also got me to a really interesting conspiracy theory basically claiming that The Pope and Hitler had tried to shift standard tuning from 432 HZ, which, they (the conspirators) claim had always been used for 2000 years because; they had discovered that this shift in frequency was what caused people to be more inclined to fight and disagree, to generate aggression. Kind of like when you are running out of your favorite <fill-in-the-blank> .

A lot of these sites basically took some very interesting and verifiable facts and combined them in some interesting ways to then generate some pretty fantastic conclusions supposedly based on these facts. Then I realized this is really what happens with every conspiracy theory. Start with an idea, preferably outrageous, and take a few facts, kludge them together and BINGO “Theory Proved.”

Now, fact checking is a bitch; someone makes a statement, maybe they reference it, maybe they don’t. Do you believe them? Here’s what I usually do. The first statement I don’t already know something about, I look up (in what I believe are reliable sources) to get some background. Then I continue with the article. If the conspirator makes a statement and I can confirm it easily I continue. After a number of these fact checks prove verifiable I can ease off and continue the article leaving out the fact checking. However, if I am going to put that article up or quote it, I really should check all of the significant statements. As Arthur C. Clark said, “If you allow me to pick and choose which facts I can use, I can prove anything.”

Unfortunately, when I applied this standard reference practice most of the conspiracy stuff just went away. The first 5 facts I looked into were just plain false. Why weren’t the great cathedral  organs tuned to 432? Why were the tuning forks of Haydn (415) and Bach (422) NOT tuned to 432? Why wouldn’t the ear cochlea adjust, over growth, to adapt to its environment? Why wouldn’t any orchestra use the tuning to lure customers back to their superior feeling music? Why aren’t we all crazy? Well, let’s hold on that one, the jury’s still out. More significantly, where is the hard evidence? Give me something. Take 2 rooms full of 6 yr olds and expose one to a 440 tone and the other to a 432? Try it for a while then switch tones. This ain’t rocket science but I think it falls squarely in the scientific method. Expose someone to 432 HZ while doing an MRI and then to 440 HZ. We can see all sorts of things. Where’s the evidence? 

It’s a pain in the ass but, ya gotta do it. “But what does this have to do with Synergetics?”, you might ask? Just this:

I contend Synergetics gives us a way to simplify the entire fact checking process by not having to keep proving the same shit over and over again, which is exactly what we are doing. Take some facts, put them together based on preconceived notions and jump to a totally irrelevant conclusion. It may be hardwired in, which is why I try to stick to a pretty strict interpretation of the Scientific Method.

Here’s how it works:

I want to take this entire idea that there is a true significance to the difference between 440 HZ and 432 HZ and see if we can’t make sense of it. But, rather than start with the conclusion ( the Pope and the Hitler had discovered something about that frequency ) and seeking facts to support what this discovery must be, let’s see if we can’t come up with a much simpler and clearer explanation for facts we are being shown. I suspect this may take a while but, I think, if we can make it work, it will be self confirming. Furthermore, we hope to demonstrate that these same facts may be recombined to explain any number of phenomena. Sacred Geometry, Holistic Medicine, Psychology, Market fluctuations, Chemistry, Physics, Languages are the ones I have looked at so far and all seem to work nicely within the network provided us by Synergetics. Not giving us predictions, but allowing us to understand what variables are truly important to the area we are exploring and giving more reliable predictability, while allowing for true freedom. In addition, it gives us several additional variables we didn’t even know we had!

The real beauty is that it is a very small set of facts. We shall refer to these as “generalized principles”, which must work everywhere and everywhen to be even considered facts and, once gotten, become the basis of any other area of the Universe we would like to explore. This is how a hologram works, this is how we apply the concept of holons and it all works together.

Einstein, Relativity and Quantum Mechanics

Perhaps the key breakdown of modern physics has occurred around the apparent irreconcilability of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity with quantum mechanics. They just don’t seem to fit. This dichotomy coincides with the loss of modelability in physics, somewhere around the mid 1950’s.

It occurred to me, as I was getting into the work of Ken Wilber, that in one of his works; Sex, Ecology and Everything he states that one of the inherent occurrences in psychology was that as different aspects of a wide range of research were uncovered, each was seen as a standalone conclusion. Freud saw everything in terms of sex and ego and id and this was thought to be the driving force behind virtually everything, Followed by Jung, B.F. Skinner, et al. all looking at pieces which turn out to be parts of a much greater holon. It was only as the “big picture” was pieced together that the obvious synergy, inherent in this aspect of evolution, became “obvious”.

We are doing the same thing in physics. Relativity and Quantum mechanics are both contained within the greater whole of Synergetics yet we are looking at each as a separate part. Mapping the sub-atomic particles is a logical first step.

Nassim Haramein – A POV


I was recently sent and watched Nassim Haramein on YouTube. I was really shocked and thrilled to see a Physics Conference discussing the very cosmology I have been working on for the past 50 years, right down to the very models I have created. It was a strange feeling, like hearing Billy Joel singing a song you had written. But, I also realize how this is just an awakening to a new realm of potential research and I do believe all of this must be kept open source.

Upon further review, I got to several of the sites debunking Haramein and his views as expressed in the film Thrive, which many of you are probably familiar with. What I did get was that most of the items for which Haramein was attacked could be omitted (I had already) and the basic concepts still stand. It is often posited that any new idea goes through 3 stages; ridicule, vilification, and finally, recognition as obvious. Let’s see how it goes.

Crossing the Event Horizon

This is the video I have been endeavoring to make but, I can fill in many of the gaps and clarify a few of his assumptions. He has done great work, especially with the mathematical/physics technical issues but, it feels like he spends a lot of time describing how he “figured out” all of this. Of course, he may not have read Synergetics but, every point he makes was described in much more detail by Fuller in 1974. Simplification is the key. I think that we all have to espouse our ideas and see how they all fit. After all, we are all looking at the same thing.

It’s just good to see physicists starting to understand how nature, science and spiritual “mysteries” can be resolved. This is just the beginning. The Glass Bead Game starts here!

Sacred Geometry and Unified Fields

This video may be a little drawn out but he makes great points.
Everything he posits fits nicely within Synergetics: The “Vacuum Energy” is the aether, the “Space” is the Isotropic Vector Matrix (the 4 dimensional, 60 deg matrix of Synergetics) is the Higgs Field, the God Particle is the Vector Equilibrium is the Higgs Boson. It all works!

Re-cap

With the announcement made this morning by Cern in Geneva we have confirmation of several concepts. The strong evidence of the Higgs Boson supports the Standard Model of the Universe espoused by western science. What is doesn’t do, is anything to make clearer the nature of that Universe. They’re still throwing rocks at that airplane trying to learn to fly. I want to build a working model of the airplane. If we can map the structures of Synergetics to such strange “particles” as muons, leptons and fermions which have characteristics as “strange” and “up” and “blue” and show how these shapes may correlate to “physical” characteristics, we may be able to better understand how everything works.

The God Particle?


On the Fourth of July (not coincidently) the scientists in Berne, Switzerland, the site of the Large Hadron Collider are having a press conference to discuss the latest discoveries in the search for the Higgs Boson. This is a particle that the current,  3-dimensional cosmology requires for anything to exist, anything. They say it is extremely unstable and may only exist for a billionth of a second. It has been called the “God Particle.”

I suspect that what we will hear is that they really did almost see it and they’re pretty sure it is there, and will need 20 years and $50 million to further study the ramifications.

Just a guess. Let’s see.

I am proposing that the Vector Equilibrium is the model of the Higgs Boson. Unstable, only detectable when passing through the zero point. The basis of all that appears as “matter.”

The God Particle and…you’re it and right at the center of your Universe. Am I making sense here?

Oh, and a final point; if we pursue the Higgs Boson with $50 million and 20 years we may wind up with a handful of carefully screened scientists, a technological priesthood divining and defining reality. The Matrix.

Or, we could opt for the blue pill; look at the Universe the way nature does, and work with it, study it and teach future generations that this is not some secret but something anyone can understand and use.

How much of humanity’s ills are tied to one group getting control of another group through ignorance and contrived shortages?

On Education


I was listening to Ted Talks on NPR the other day and got into this interesting discussion on education that I thought was really eye-opening and yet, so obvious to anyone involved in education, that it was hard to rectify. The conclusion seemed to be that our global educational system (the new technologies have spawned this) is still based in a corporate, industrial model which blatantly favors conformity and rule following, rather than encouraging the creativity we need to engender in future generations, if we are going to be able to deal with the problems we are facing as a bio-system on the face of a finite planet.

I find that, especially here in Costa Rica, where so many kids are home schooled, that the creativity seems to flourish but sometimes the other areas that our current cultural background appears to value are neglected. All too often this tradeoff puts the home schooled student at a disadvantage, lacking what are deemed “validation” by industry; degrees and certifications which were largely designed to maintain control over labor costs by the upper classes.

Consider this. What if what I am proposing here; that there is a 4th dimension and that it is what nature uses; and what if we could teach children how that system works. They wouldn’t have to give up anything but, the possibility of what those children could do with the new level of understanding offered them, is limitless.
