Waxing Political

I have been listening to a great radio show called On Point  which I listen to on www.wbfo.org. This morning for example they had back-to-back hours on Education and the internet, and an interview with the author of “When America First Met China.”

The education hour explored the potential future of education and the application of the newest technologies. The implications of the availability of education and how it should best be distributed and it really shows that most of these existing Universities are truly interested in distributing education but, as soon as we get the corporations involved (and they are NOT people) focus shifts to the bottom line and their own future existence. We must, as a globally evolving nation, invest heavily in the education of our youth.

Now, ask yourself this. If you agree with this premise, who do you think will keep us on a path to better opportunity and who wants to cut “entitlements.” I’m not looking for rebuttals or arguments but, this just appears to be common sense to me.

The second part of this show was an interview delving into the US involvement with China from the beginning and was fascinating. Items from; the treatment in the US of Cooleys, to the decimation of the sea otter population in which pelts were bought from US trappers for a small fraction of what they sold for in China, to the exportation of opium and the Opium War. Ups and downs in huge cycles. How, many of the fortunes of The Rockefellers etc were gotten by trade with China which they turned into railroads and industry. Men (sorry, ladies, that’s history) who kept their money moving, individuals who, in some cases, cared deeply about the future and the country. In many cases they were the recipients of huge government handouts, during the wars, given land in exchange for developing infrastructure. In the case of Herbert Dow, he was given a million dollars during World War II to develop a “synthetic rubber.” After the war, after having developed a great petrochemical complex capable of making huge quantities of some very essential chemicals such as chlorine and later plastics, what was the government to do? All of this developed on the taxpayers back. It couldn’t be controlled by the government, that would be seen as “socialism”.  So, the decision was made to give Dow Chemical to Herbert Dow for pennies on the dollar but, since it had a virtual monopoly AND was paid for by US taxpayers, it would be regulated. That is until Reagan decided it was “unfair” to regulate such an industry and anyone should be able to compete with Dow Chemical in an “open market.” An interesting twist.

I just don’t think that enough American corporations of today have that capacity to be concerned about anything other than profit. Unfortunately, much of the populace see themselves as those great men who built this country, they seem to think that by investing in some mutual fund that does good that they are building a future. And to some extent they are, but it’s an investment in themselves and their families. That’s all well and good but, if you are stashing away cash overseas while American Vets are homeless, or fighting “entitlements” which give young, poor mothers a place to spend a night, that’s a bit hypocritical, no matter what church you go to on Sunday or Saturday.  I can’t imagine myself or anyone wanting to jump into this “handout”.

You may already be on the other side of this fence but, it’s still going to be there after the election. I know where I’m gonna’ be.

A=440 vs A=432 Leads to a Challenge

I have just had a friend recommend an article he read on the significance of Standard Tuning of A being 440 HZ or 432 HZ and the ramifications of this fact. He and I are both musicians but the implication of the article is that this 8 HZ difference represents far more than musical inclinations. From this site you can get to all sorts of discussions and controversies: Rothschild’s, Illuminati, enslavement.

This got me to the field of Cymatics and some spectacular patterns generated by sound vibrations. It also got me to a really interesting conspiracy theory basically claiming that The Pope and Hitler had tried to shift standard tuning from 432 HZ, which, they (the conspirators) claim had always been used for 2000 years because; they had discovered that this shift in frequency was what caused people to be more inclined to fight and disagree, to generate aggression. Kind of like when you are running out of your favorite <fill-in-the-blank> .

A lot of these sites basically took some very interesting and verifiable facts and combined them in some interesting ways to then generate some pretty fantastic conclusions supposedly based on these facts. Then I realized this is really what happens with every conspiracy theory. Start with an idea, preferably outrageous, and take a few facts, kludge them together and BINGO “Theory Proved.”

Now, fact checking is a bitch; someone makes a statement, maybe they reference it, maybe they don’t. Do you believe them? Here’s what I usually do. The first statement I don’t already know something about, I look up (in what I believe are reliable sources) to get some background. Then I continue with the article. If the conspirator makes a statement and I can confirm it easily I continue. After a number of these fact checks prove verifiable I can ease off and continue the article leaving out the fact checking. However, if I am going to put that article up or quote it, I really should check all of the significant statements. As Arthur C. Clark said, “If you allow me to pick and choose which facts I can use, I can prove anything.”

Unfortunately, when I applied this standard reference practice most of the conspiracy stuff just went away. The first 5 facts I looked into were just plain false. Why weren’t the great cathedral  organs tuned to 432? Why were the tuning forks of Haydn (415) and Bach (422) NOT tuned to 432? Why wouldn’t the ear cochlea adjust, over growth, to adapt to its environment? Why wouldn’t any orchestra use the tuning to lure customers back to their superior feeling music? Why aren’t we all crazy? Well, let’s hold on that one, the jury’s still out. More significantly, where is the hard evidence? Give me something. Take 2 rooms full of 6 yr olds and expose one to a 440 tone and the other to a 432? Try it for a while then switch tones. This ain’t rocket science but I think it falls squarely in the scientific method. Expose someone to 432 HZ while doing an MRI and then to 440 HZ. We can see all sorts of things. Where’s the evidence? 

It’s a pain in the ass but, ya gotta do it. “But what does this have to do with Synergetics?”, you might ask? Just this:

I contend Synergetics gives us a way to simplify the entire fact checking process by not having to keep proving the same shit over and over again, which is exactly what we are doing. Take some facts, put them together based on preconceived notions and jump to a totally irrelevant conclusion. It may be hardwired in, which is why I try to stick to a pretty strict interpretation of the Scientific Method.

Here’s how it works:

I want to take this entire idea that there is a true significance to the difference between 440 HZ and 432 HZ and see if we can’t make sense of it. But, rather than start with the conclusion ( the Pope and the Hitler had discovered something about that frequency ) and seeking facts to support what this discovery must be, let’s see if we can’t come up with a much simpler and clearer explanation for facts we are being shown. I suspect this may take a while but, I think, if we can make it work, it will be self confirming. Furthermore, we hope to demonstrate that these same facts may be recombined to explain any number of phenomena. Sacred Geometry, Holistic Medicine, Psychology, Market fluctuations, Chemistry, Physics, Languages are the ones I have looked at so far and all seem to work nicely within the network provided us by Synergetics. Not giving us predictions, but allowing us to understand what variables are truly important to the area we are exploring and giving more reliable predictability, while allowing for true freedom. In addition, it gives us several additional variables we didn’t even know we had!

The real beauty is that it is a very small set of facts. We shall refer to these as “generalized principles”, which must work everywhere and everywhen to be even considered facts and, once gotten, become the basis of any other area of the Universe we would like to explore. This is how a hologram works, this is how we apply the concept of holons and it all works together.

Mind Fun

This should become part of a heading called “Mind Fuckers” or something like that. Mull this one over.
Our bodies, indeed, our entire physical world, is made up of “particles” none of which can actually be seen, by-the-way, but which exhibit very definite and consistent patterns of behavior due to largely unknown or misunderstood forces. So, every atom in our bodies which in turn make up the molecules, enzymes, proteins, cells, organs, organ systems etc. are all operating at full tilt; somewhere near the speed of light in some cases. All of that activity supplies blood to my highly evolved (thus far) brain which then uses this computer to write these words which, as soon as they are put down begin to ever so slowly breakdown via entropy into the same randomness from whence they came.
Now, if time’s arrow is the direction of entropy and/or vice versa, what happens to time while I (all those atoms which comprise “me”) am creating via syntropy; making ever more complex devices from the chaos. Does time reverse? Does it pause? Does that creative time ever get “paid back” is some mysterious way?

Perhaps a good analogy is a plant. It takes in the sunlight water and certain minerals and replicates the patterns encrypted in the DNA of its seed to become the fruited plant which we then harvest, breakdown via cooking, chewing and digesting to repeat the process.

I’m putting this out because I find it is triggering many interesting and sometimes conflicting ideas of what we are and what it is, exactly, we are going here. I heard one of the many pundits of evolution say the other day that the purpose of any evolving civilization should be to get off the face of the planet they are evolving on. It’s not a stable place to be. One big solar flare in the wrong direction and puff…there goes earth’s atmosphere. Who cares about the CO2? But, this is the subject for another time. Just consider whether time goes backward if we are being creative. It seems logically that it should. The related physics question (you may remember this one from high school too) says that if an astronaut goes off at the speed of light and his twin brother stays on earth, when the astronaut twin gets back he would be younger because time slows down as your speed increases, hypothetically stopping when you got to the speed of light but, and here’s the tricky part, when the astronaut twin stops won’t the light he has been speeding ahead of catch back up with him? Would he age faster on the return trip or as he slowed down? And, per relativity, how would we know which twin was, in fact, moving and in which direction? All of these questions require incredible kludges and suspensions of disbelief to even begin to make any sense but then strangle in their own complexity.

I think there’s a better, easier and more intuitive way.

It’s called Synergetics.

Einstein, Relativity and Quantum Mechanics

Perhaps the key breakdown of modern physics has occurred around the apparent irreconcilability of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity with quantum mechanics. They just don’t seem to fit. This dichotomy coincides with the loss of modelability in physics, somewhere around the mid 1950’s.

It occurred to me, as I was getting into the work of Ken Wilber, that in one of his works; Sex, Ecology and Everything he states that one of the inherent occurrences in psychology was that as different aspects of a wide range of research were uncovered, each was seen as a standalone conclusion. Freud saw everything in terms of sex and ego and id and this was thought to be the driving force behind virtually everything, Followed by Jung, B.F. Skinner, et al. all looking at pieces which turn out to be parts of a much greater holon. It was only as the “big picture” was pieced together that the obvious synergy, inherent in this aspect of evolution, became “obvious”.

We are doing the same thing in physics. Relativity and Quantum mechanics are both contained within the greater whole of Synergetics yet we are looking at each as a separate part. Mapping the sub-atomic particles is a logical first step.

Re-cap

With the announcement made this morning by Cern in Geneva we have confirmation of several concepts. The strong evidence of the Higgs Boson supports the Standard Model of the Universe espoused by western science. What is doesn’t do, is anything to make clearer the nature of that Universe. They’re still throwing rocks at that airplane trying to learn to fly. I want to build a working model of the airplane. If we can map the structures of Synergetics to such strange “particles” as muons, leptons and fermions which have characteristics as “strange” and “up” and “blue” and show how these shapes may correlate to “physical” characteristics, we may be able to better understand how everything works.

Spirituality

At the root of this work is my own attempt to resolve the extremely analytical portion of my brain with another level, which I have long recognized but had some trouble understanding. I found the key I needed in Richard Buckminster Fuller’s  No More Second Hand God in which he posits that we make our own environment and must work to understand how to utilize this environment to our collective benefit. I believe Fuller gave us some answers which allow us to link Spirituality with Science. Many of the concepts previously considered out of the scientific realm (Accupuncture, Homeopathy, Spiritual Healing, Zero Point Energy) may now find new bases for acceptance within the Synergetic realm. Additionally, I have seen within this Synergetic, 4 dimensional system, many Spiritual concepts and icons. Images clearly related to The Tree of Life, Star of David, Crucifix, DNA come up frequently and may allow further clues to how this great puzzle fits together.

We would also like to note that all of the concepts presented here are in complete agreement with the realms presented to us by Jane Roberts via the Seth books which influenced such modern day Gurus as Deepak Chopra and Louise Haye.

Now, some may question whether it makes any sense to attempt “figure out” the Universe. Why not just accept it the way it is? Well, some day I may get there but, for now, I will repeat the quote by an Ultra-Orthodox Jew who was a researcher in genetic engineering. When asked if his religion and profession weren’t at odds, he said someting like, “If God hadn’t wanted me to figure this out he wouldn’t have put it in front of me. He knows me.” 

I like that.

Shrinking

The Center

One of the more difficult concepts to grasp by many is the idea that we are shrinking rather than the Universe expanding. Let me see if this makes things clearer:

We know that energy radiates outward radially, this is also the direction of entropy; ergo, time. Syntropy, the opposite of entropy, and the direction of greater order, is completely consistent with this concept of consciousness shrinking. Consciousness forms this matter which then immediately begins to breakdown radially toward greater chaos…

This is where the toroidal shape comes in; energy coming in, is knit into greater order by consciousness (nucleus, primary dualism) through two counter-rotating layers of the aether to be disbursed at the opposite pole…it’s PERFECT!

We humans see either the entropy or the syntropy depending on which way we focus, outside or in. This places us always at the center of this Universe we create and continue to re-create and maintain in perfect balance. Interestingly, some things may get turned around. Meditation, usually thought of as looking “Inside”, since “we” are already as inside as we could possibly get, becomes to look “Outside”! Looking Out to the bgger picture, to the Universe, to become better able to take in what it has to give, the energy, the Light and understand it. To create ever greater realities. It’s what we have created ourselves to do 😉

It has a lot of implications.

What we are looking at here is my initial introduction to a new form of modeling and model building. Based on Buckminster Fuller’s Synergetics, I am developing a way to model some of the more difficult images to envision in modern physics. In the future I hope to expand greatly on this model and to, perhaps, receive feedback on the concepts presented.

What you are seeing here is the Synergetic Model of what the nucleus of an atom looks like. We aren’t going to bother with “what atom?” or atomic weight just a generic proton (nucleus) and electron combination. We will produce several variations on this theme and see if any of them coincide with other scientific, philosophical, or theological views.

The Beginning

So here we are in Costa Rica developing what hopes to be a new community. A place where people with an interest in community, sustainability and self-development can come together in, perhaps, one of the last relatively unspoiled places on the planet. Permaculture is preeminent here. We are the barbarians outside the walls of civilization. Building a culture on shared effort and reward where all contribute what they can and learn how if they can’t. Investing in the human aspects rather than the institutions. Check it out.

Entropy and Consciousness

One of the generalized principles of the Universe is that it is entropic. This means that matter and energy are always going toward greater chaos. If you leave an object, say a tea-cup, sit for long enough it will, at some point, start to break down. It will break into ever smaller pieces, effects like erosion will continue to break it into dust. This occurs universally. Grains of sand never self-assemble into teacups. Molecules don’t come together to form clay and bake themselves into the shape of a teacup. So where does the teacup come from? Where does a tree or a rock come from?

Our contention here is that consciousness is the source of anti-entropy or, syntropy. Entropy is the progression toward ever-increasing chaos while syntropy is the opposite; the assembling of chaos into higher levels of organization. It seems rather obvious that that teacup is the product of consciousness. In point of fact all objects, all organized systems, are always and only the manifestation of an idea assembled by consciousness. Science is now realizing that consciousness is not a product of the physical world. I was taught that the Universe started with a “Big Bang” which distributed myriad particles throughout space and that these particles attracted each other and collected into globules and clusters that somehow assembled into elements and molecules and formed matter and then somewhere in this process, cells formed and organized into cellular systems and biological entities and then somewhere in there consciousness was born. Does this make any sense? In a Universe where entropy is the rule where does a teacup come from?

Without going into detail let’s see if consciousness creating matter makes sense. If we choose to believe that this is so; that at a very fundamental level, consciousness is the spark which initiates the basic assembly of something into the most elemental of particles, that this is the driving force which initiates matter, we can see if the concept holds up. We can see that without consciousness there is no syntropy and for argument’s sake we’ll simply state, as do many religions, that all objects have consciousness. A rock, a tree, a grain of sand an animal. Any example of syntropy has consciousness behind it. We are not making something out of nothing, merely assembling energy events into groups or holons which in turn break apart and reassemble into ever more complex combinations of atoms, molecules, amino acids, cells, cell systems, organs, organ systems and organizations.
